Timings: The zones are open for visitors Entry from 06.00 AM TO 11.30 AM and Exit
before 04.30 PM. Kindly note the timings before planning the trip.
Age: Only persons above age 16 years are allowed.
Permits: To enter the zone, all tourists must present a booking receipt along with a hard
copy of a valid government-issued ID that exactly matches the name on the booking.
Entry is restricted to a limited number of visitors at a time.
Vehicle: No vehicles are allowed.Please plan safe and convenient parking accordingly.
Guide: A trained guide, appointed by the Forest Department, is mandatory for all visitors.
The guide will assist you throughout the trek and ensure compliance with all rules and
regulations. Guide charges must be paid directly to the assigned guide at the sanctuary
gate before entry. In case of no network Request to please cash with you.
Noise: Visitors are expected to maintain silence during the trek to avoid disturbing
wildlife. The use of music systems or mobile phones for loud audio is strictly prohibited.
Violations will attract heavy penalties as per government regulations.
Littering: Littering is strictly prohibited within the forest. A refundable security deposit of
₹50 per plastic item will be collected at the entry gate. This amount will be refunded upon
returning the plastic waste at the exit gate. Visitors are expected to carry all their trash
with them and dispose of it responsibly outside the forest.
Feeding: Feeding animals is strictly prohibited, as it can attract wild and potentially
dangerous wildlife towards visitors.
Smoking: Smoking is not allowed inside the forest.
Photography: Photography is permitted inside the forest & Trek, however, the use of
flash or spotlights is strictly prohibited. Drone usage is not allowed. For any commercial
shoots, prior permission from the competent authority is mandatory.
Route: visitors are not allowed to change the route marked by the forest department.
Fines & Action for violation of Rules: Andharban Trek is a protected area under
Section 26(a) of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972. Any violation of the above rules will
invite strict legal action and penalties as per the provisions of this Act.
Safety: Visitors are advised to exercise caution while walking, as safety is a top priority.
Please follow all rules and guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents or mishaps. The
Forest Department of Maharashtra and the JFM Committee shall not be held responsible
for any untoward incidents.
Refund : All bookings are final. No refunds, returns, transfers, or rescheduling will be
permitted under any circumstances.
